During the annual martyrdom gathering of Fatehgarh Sahib, a video of some teenagers wearing Nihang Bana, taking off the warm caps of passers-by and hanging them on their necks has gone viral. This action has been strongly condemned by Sikh Sangat and Nihang groups. The SGPC member has called it contrary to Sikh dignity. A demand has been made to the administration to control such anti-social elements. A retired DSP also apologized for this incident.
