Srinagar Police continued its campaign against drug abuse and smuggling in 2025. During this period, 172 cases were registered under the NDPS Act and 291 people were arrested. Due to a domestic dispute in Kundadih village of Mayorpur police station area of Sonbhadra, a woman killed her brother-in-law Anil by beating him with the cot bed.
