The government has approved the transfer of the Deputy Registrar office of Ghaziabad to Gautam Buddha Nagar. This office registers and regulates societies, partnership firms and chit funds. At present, the officers hold the charge of both the districts and sit in Noida for three days a week and in Ghaziabad for three days. The location of the new office has not been decided yet, but the process is going on at the government level.
