Delhi Transport Department has issued a public notice saying that old vehicles found on the roads will be confiscated and scrapped without any prior notice. The move is to strictly enforce air pollution standards in the national capital. Diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years will be affected. Owners have been advised to obtain NOC before taking their vehicles out of Delhi-NCR.
