In Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, a 17-year-old minor tribal girl was kidnapped and gang-raped. The accused, while trying to kill him to hide their identity, strangled him and thought him dead and ran away. The villagers returning through the forest found her lying in an unconscious state.
