Important News For Ration Card Holders; Get E-KYC Done By 28th February, Relief To Those Living Outside

Under the National Food Security Act, 100% e-KYC has been made mandatory for all ration card holders of Bihar by 28 February 2026. This free e-KYC can be done through e-POS machines at Public Distribution System shops or through facial e-KYC mobile app. Beneficiaries living outside the state can also get e-KYC done from anywhere except a few states, they do not need to return to Bihar.
