Even a year ago, a case of exploitation of minors and organized prostitution had come to light in Gorakhpur. This network was exposed with the recovery of a 13-year-old girl on January 2, 2025. The gang used to trap girls and force them into prostitution through internet media. Police raided Hotel Fly-In and Genus Batal Hookah Bar and arrested 15 accused, including kingpin Anirudh Ojha. The involvement of five other hotel operators also came to light.
