In PD Nagar of Sadar area of Unnao, an elder brother stabbed younger brother Satyam Soni to death after a fight. Satyam was mentally ill and often quarreled. As the dispute escalated, elder brother Shivam stabbed him in anger. Satyam was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Police have registered the case and started searching for accused Shivam.
A 16-year-old non-local minor boy was allegedly seriously injured after his throat was slit with a sharp object in Safakadal area of Srinagar. The boy, a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, was found injured in his rented room and has been admitted to SMHS hospital. Police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is underway. His health condition is awaited.

108 and 102 ambulance employees are on strike in Himachal Pradesh, causing problems to patients and pregnant women. In Ghumarwin, Bilaspur, an ambulance driver drove away with the keys, on which a police complaint was registered. The union claims that only 13 ambulances are running. The employees are alleging violation of labor laws and harassment. This is a 48-hour strike, which has affected health services.

In Delhi's Adarsh Nagar, two miscreants riding a bike snatched the mobile phone from a woman Shilpa. The incident took place on Lord Krishna Road on the evening of December 23, when the woman was talking to her husband. Adarsh Nagar police station has registered the case and is searching for the accused with the help of CCTV footage.

A fire broke out at a scrap auto spares parts warehouse in Ajmeri Gate, Old Delhi. 15 fire tenders brought the fire under control after two and a half hours of effort. Rescue operations were hampered due to narrow streets. Goods worth lakhs were burnt to ashes, but there were no casualties. In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.
