Dense Fog Wreaks Havoc In Jalandhar, Verka Truck Falls Into Dirty Drain, Demand To Install Sign Board

Due to dense fog in Jalandhar on Sunday morning, a Verka vehicle fell into a dirty drain on Maqsudan Road from DAV College flyover. Driver Jasveer Singh escaped safely, but he raised questions on the negligence of the administration. He says that despite zero visibility, there was no marking or warning board on the drain. This is the third time that a vehicle has fallen here, due to which concrete arrangements have been demanded. Police is investigating.

Indian Bank 2.41 Crore Embezzlement Case: Absconding Contractor Arrested After 9 Months, 6 Accused Have Been Punished

Police have arrested contractor Ravish after nine months in the case of embezzlement of Rs 2.41 crore from Indian Bank branch in Jasrana. The embezzled amount was also transferred to Ravish's account. Six accused have already been convicted in this case, while two others, including the branch manager, are on bail.
