Treatment As Well As Earning: Through Aaush Gram Model, There Is A Way Of Income Along With Treatment In Villages, 12 Villages Of East Singhbhum Will Be Developed.

Ayush Gram Model has been started in East Singhbhum district, under which 12 villages of Ghatshila, Potka, Patmada and Baharagora blocks will be developed in the first phase. The objective of this initiative is to provide the villagers with healthcare as well as opportunity to increase income through medicinal farming. In the camps, villagers are being given free treatment and information about cultivation of medicinal plants, from which they can earn Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh annually.

Zero Poverty And Leprosy Patients Will Get Priority On Vacant Seats For Ration Cards.

In Ghazipur, there are 6221 vacant units in the urban area and 34,353 vacant units in the rural area. District Magistrate Avinash Kumar said that the benefit of these vacant units will be given in issuing ration cards to leprosy patients and those receiving shoe-sock subsidy under the Zero Poverty Scheme. Instructions were given to expedite the review of e-KYC and to conduct e-KYC of new cards issued between May 2025 and August 2025 on priority.
