7 Nigerian Citizens Living Illegally In Delhi Arrested, Action Taken Under 'Operation Clean Sweep'

Delhi Police has arrested 7 Nigerian nationals from Uttam Nagar in Dwarka district under 'Operation Clean Sweep'. All of them were living in India illegally even after the visa period had expired. The Anti-Narcotics Cell team took action on the basis of intelligence information. After medical examination and production before the FRRO, he has been ordered to be deported and is currently kept in the detention centre. DCP Ankit Singh said that this campaign against illegal immigrants will continue.

Jatin, a resident of Jahazpul area, was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. Woman Going To Get Medicine For Her Son Dies In Road Accident, Condition Of Auto Driver Critical

In a tragic road accident on Surasand-Sitamarhi NH-227 in Sitamarhi, a female passenger traveling in an auto died on the spot, while the auto driver was seriously injured. Truck and auto collided near Suraghiya village. The deceased was going to Sitamarhi to get medicine for her son. Nepali liquor was also found in the auto, due to which the driver is suspected to be drunk. Police have seized both the vehicles and investigation is ongoing.

Loan Scam Case Against 9 Including Former MD Of Kangra Co-operative Bank, Accused Of Missing Records Of Hotel Project

A case of fraud has been registered against 9 officers and employees including former managing director Vinod Kumar in an old hotel loan case of Kangra Central Co-operative Bank KCCB in Una district. Complainant Yudh Chand Bains has alleged that bank officials tampered with loan records, missing important documents and deliberately undervalued his property, causing financial loss to him. The loan was wrongly declared as NPA. Police is investigating.

Double Accident On Delhi-Mathura Highway In Faridabad, Car Stuck Between Divider And Trees; Narrow Escape Driver

Late night near Sector-28 metro station on Delhi-Mathura National Highway in Faridabad, a speeding car overturned and got stuck between the divider and a tree. The driver came out safely. Meanwhile, another car that had previously stopped to watch the accident was hit from behind. No one was injured in both accidents, although the vehicles suffered significant damage and airbags deployed. Police investigated and restored traffic.
