Special Classes Will Be Organized For Students Of Class 9th To 12th In Delhi, Emphasis On Strengthening Board Exam Preparation.

The Directorate of Education has decided to organize special classes for students of classes IX to XII during winter vacations. These classes will run from 1 to 9 January 2026, with the main objective of strengthening the academic preparation of students for pre-board and board examinations. In these classes held in morning and evening shifts, board pattern questions will be practiced and answer writing techniques will be taught. Parents have been instructed to ensure regular attendance of students.

Safe Travel In Fog: New Rule For Roadways Buses In Ghaziabad, Only Experienced Drivers Will Drive Buses At Night.

Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has issued new orders for operation of roadways buses at night due to fog. Now only accident free drivers will be deployed on night duty. Drivers who have had previous accidents or received complaints of over-speeding will not be allowed to drive buses at night. Drivers are also being given training on safe driving.

Dispute Over Playing A Song At A Birthday Party In Loni, Ghaziabad, Two Youths Stabbed

Neighbor Imran alias Romeo and his associates attacked Nazim and Mujahid with knives over a dispute over playing a song during a birthday party in Kasim Vihar Colony, Loni. Both were injured and admitted to the hospital. On the complaint of the victim's father, a report has been registered at Tronica City police station and the police is searching for the accused.

A Youth Riding A Bike Died In A Collision With A Recovery Van On The National Highway In Kurukshetra, Mourning Spread In The Family.

Vinod Kumar, 30, died in a road accident on NH-44 in Shahabad, Kurukshetra. The recovery van made a sudden cut, due to which the motorcycle collided. Vinod was the only brother of two sisters and was going to Kurukshetra to collect the goods. The van driver fled from the spot. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

Bad News For Those Going To Magh Mela, 5 Special Trains Of Chhapra-Gorakhpur Cancelled; Lakhs Of Devotees Are Worried

North Eastern Railway has canceled five special unreserved trains from Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh and Barhni to Prayagraj Jhusi for Magh Mela 2026. Due to operational reasons, these trains will not run from January 1 to February 17, 2026. Team Arrived To Investigate The Village Secretary Who Asked For Bribe For Birth-death Certificate, Villagers Lodged Complaints

In Salempur of Deoria, the village secretary has been accused of demanding bribe for registering names in the birth-death certificate and family register. The District Magistrate took cognizance of the villagers' complaint. On his instructions, a four-member team including BDO reached the spot and investigated.
