There will be a detailed investigation in the disproportionate assets case against suspended Regional Education Deputy Director Virendra Narayan. After the raid by the Special Surveillance Unit, he is accused of misuse of position and earning money through corrupt means. Rejecting their reply, the Education Department has ordered to complete the investigation within three months. This investigation will be done by Additional Secretary Vijay Kumar and District Education Officer Muzaffarpur.

Training Taken For Jharkhand Civic Elections; State Election Commissioner Said- There Should Be Fair Elections Free From Disputes In Every Situation.

State Election Commissioner Alka Tiwari stressed on conducting clean, fair and peaceful civic elections in Jharkhand. He gave training to the election officials, in which instructions were given to strictly follow the rules, be careful in voting through ballot papers and implement the model code of conduct. It was also asked to ensure prompt action on the complaints of the candidates, so that the elections can be conducted without disputes.

61 Year Old Man Sentenced To Five Years In Child Pornography Case In Ambala

Ambala's fast track court has sentenced 61-year-old Gurdeep alias Pappu to five years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 in the case of obscenity with a 10-year-old girl. The convict was doing paint work in the victim's house when he sexually assaulted the girl. The police had registered a case under the POCSO Act. The court had recently declared him guilty.
