New Problem In The Election Process Of Panchkula Municipal Corporation, Questions Raised On Population, Notice To Election Commission
Legal questions have been raised over the election process in Panchkula Municipal Corporation as its population has reduced from three lakh to 2.91 lakh. Advocate Hemant Kumar has sent a notice to the Haryana State Election Commission demanding reconsideration of the decision to update the voter list. A huge decline has also been recorded in the Scheduled Caste population. This decrease has happened due to the separation of Kalka and Pinjore.
