Death Of An Undertrial Prisoner Lodged Under NDPS Act Of East Champaran Jail, Undergoing Treatment In SKMCH.

Kalam Hawari, an undertrial prisoner of East Champaran jail, died during treatment at SKMCH in Muzaffarpur. 60-year-old Kalam Hawari was in jail since 2022 in an NDPS Act case. He was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, due to which he was referred to SKMCH when his health deteriorated. As per rules, the body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem under the supervision of the magistrate.
