MNREGA Lokpal Will Now Investigate PM Awas Yojana, Will Tighten The Noose On Wrongdoers

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has instructed the Rural Development Department to maintain transparency in development works. He asked the MNREGA ombudsmen to investigate the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and publicize the Vikas Bharat Employment and Livelihood Guarantee Mission Gramin. Instructions have been given to take action on irregularities and ensure adherence to construction standards. Commissioner Rural Development has sent a letter to all the Chief Development Officers to resolve the complaints within 30 days.
