In Jamui, Mother And Children Slept After Lighting A Bonfire Inside The House, Neighbors Saved Their Lives By Breaking The Door; Admitted To Hospital

In Jamui's Pado village, a mother and her two children became seriously ill after sleeping by burning borsi in the room to save themselves from the cold. Late Vipin Sharma's wife Sulekha Devi, 9-year-old son Rikki and 6-year-old daughter Priya Kumari became unconscious due to suffocation. In the morning, the family members broke the door and took him to Sadar Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Mother's condition still remains critical.

Severe Cold Continues To Wreak Havoc In Jammu And Kashmir, Minus Nine Degrees In Gulmarg, No Relief For Two Weeks

Severe cold continues in Jammu and Kashmir, minimum temperatures are continuously falling. The mercury reached -8.8 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg, while it was -3.6 degrees in Srinagar. Sonipat Accident: Scooty Rammed Into Truck On Nangal Khurd Flyover Of NH-44, Three Friends From Delhi Died.

A tragic accident took place on Nangal Khurd flyover of NH-44 in Sonipat. Three friends from Delhi riding a scooter entered the truck. In the accident, two died on the spot, while one died in the hospital. All three were not wearing helmets. Mayank Sharma was the only son among the deceased. Police are investigating the matter and the truck driver is absconding.

Encroachment Campaign On Lakdamandi And Old Shivli Road In Kanpur, 120 Encroachments Removed, Police Chased Away The Encroachers Who Came To Stop Them.

Kanpur Municipal Corporation launched a campaign to remove encroachment on Lakdamndi and Old Shivli Road. The squad removed 120 illegal encroachments from footpaths and roads. The police chased away the protesters with sticks. A fine of Rs 20 thousand was also imposed during the campaign. A case of assault has come to light after a police complaint in Buraka village of Palwal. On December 28, Sanna, a girl going to the fields, was stopped. When her aunt came to save Mubina, the eight named accused attacked her with sharp weapons, due to which Mubina was seriously injured. This attack was carried out in retaliation for a previous complaint. Police have registered a case against eight accused.
