Air Force Controlled Forest Fire In Nanda Devi Area Of Uttarakhand, Major Loss Averted.

The Indian Air Force took immediate action and controlled the forest fire in Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve of Uttarakhand. On the request of the state government, Mi-17 V5 helicopters reached Joshimath and bucketed water in the fire-affected area.
