Record Increase In Number Of Birds In Ghatora Wetland, 70 Percent Foreign Guests

Bihar Forest Department and BNHS launched Asian Water Bird Census 2026 in Ghatora Wetland. According to Bhagalpur DFO, more than 10,000 birds of 72 species were counted on Sunday, of which 70 were migratory. This is the highest number so far in Ghatora.
