Fatal Car Accident Due To Fog On Eastern Peripheral Expressway, One Dead; Two Injured

A car collided with the divider due to dense fog on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Muradnagar police station area. Shohrab of Rampur died in the accident that took place late on Friday night, while his two companions were seriously injured. Police sent the body for post-mortem and treatment of the injured is underway. Low visibility due to fog is being said to be the main reason for the accident.

He was a fugitive in an NDPS Act case in which 400 grams of heroin worth Rs 1.60 crore was recovered. Nikhil is part of a gang involved in the purchase and sale of heroin in Delhi-NCR. The arrest has dealt a major blow to the drug network. Rs 4.34 lakh cash was also found from him.
