Announcement Of Service Medals To 982 Police Personnel, How Many Will Get The Honor From Which State?

On the occasion of Republic Day, 982 police, fire, home guard and other service personnel will be awarded gallantry and distinguished service medals. These include 125 gallantry medals, out of which maximum 45 will be given to the soldiers of Jammu and Kashmir. Maharashtra Police will get 31 gallantry medals and Uttar Pradesh Police will get 18 gallantry medals. 31 CBI officers will also be honoured, including Joint Director V. Chandrashekhar.
