Strict Order From Allahabad High Court, 'Take Decision On Seniority Of 172 Constables Of 2015 Batch Within Two Months'

Allahabad High Court has directed ADGP Personnel to take a decision in two months in the seniority matter of 172 constables of 2015 batch. Justice Vikas Wednesday gave this order on the petition of Vivek Kumar Tripathi and others. The seniority of the petitioners was reduced by 26 days, which may jeopardize their promotion. The court said that the decision should be taken in two months on the basis of the report of April 24, 2023.

Expenditure Limit Fixed In Jharkhand Municipal Elections, Candidates Will Have To Give Complete Details

The State Election Commission has fixed the maximum limit on election expenditure of candidates for municipal elections. In Sahibganj Municipal Council, presidential candidates will be able to spend up to Rs 6 lakh and ward councilors will be able to spend up to Rs 1.5 lakh. In Barhadwa and Rajmahal Nagar Panchayat, the president will be able to spend up to Rs 5 lakh and the ward councilor will be able to spend up to Rs 1 lakh. Candidates will have to give details of expenditure from nomination till result, otherwise they may be disqualified.
