The UDAN scheme has received Rs 550 crore in the Union Budget, which aims to increase affordable flights to smaller cities. However, Jamshedpur's Dhalbhum airport is stuck due to the 150 km rule and environmental constraints. Despite laying the foundation in 2018–19, construction has not started even after six years. Since this project is in the Elephant Corridor, the Forest Department has not given NOC, due to which Jamshedpur has to wait for big planes.

Chhattisgarh: Uproar In Gariaband By Those Accused Of Demolishing The Temple, Burning Of Many Houses; Police Deployed To Prevent Communal Tension

Car And Bike Collide In Kapurthala, One Dead
