Special arrangements have been made at the Wildlife SOS Conservation Center in Mathura to protect elephants and bears from the cold. The bears are being fed hot porridge of millet, ragi, jaggery and eggs, while the elephants are being fed a mixture of hot spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic and celery. The elephants are being heated with halogens, and tarpaulins and straw are provided for the bears.
