The four lane road from Navgachia to Chaudharydih will be raised by 10-14 meters. The project, which will commence in June, will cost a total of Rs 306 crore and is targeted to be completed in 18 months. This also includes a flyover at Zero Mile and ROB at Gopalpur. This road will connect to the four-lane bridge parallel to Vikramshila Setu and connect NH 131B to Munger-Mirzachowki four-lane.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, two pontoon bridges are also ready at a cost of about five crores, due to which the time to reach the village has reduced from two and a half hours to just 20 minutes.

GM Of East Central Railway Inaugurated The Maintenance Unit, Directed To Further Improve Track Maintenance.

General Manager of East Central Railway, Chhatrasal Singh inspected the window trailing of Patna-Natesar railway section. He gave instructions to improve track maintenance. Inaugurated a 250 kilowatt solar power plant and AMDBS maintenance unit at the coach repair factory located in Harnaut. The General Manager also took stock of the ongoing redevelopment works under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at Rajgir station, emphasizing on quality and time-frame.

Bihar SI Exam: Exam Will Be Held At 10 Centers On 18-21 January, Joint Briefing Of DM-SP

Police Sub Inspector examination will be held in Banka on 18 and 21 January 2026. DM Navdeep Shukla and SP Upendra Nath Verma held a joint briefing to ensure peaceful and malpractice-free examinations. Magistrates and police forces will be deployed for this examination to be held in two shifts at 10 centers in the district. There will be a ban on electronic devices and intensive checking will be done.

CCTV Cameras Will Be Installed For The First Time In Red Fort, ASI Approved The Plan After Seven Years

CCTV cameras are being installed for the first time to increase security in the Red Fort. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) approved it after seven years of objection. The decision was taken due to security concerns following the 2005 terrorist attacks. In the first phase, 150 cameras and high-mast floodlights will be installed, which will strengthen the monitoring of the historical monument.
