Raghopur police took a major action in Simrahi market and recovered 451 kg of ganja from a Bolero. Its price in the international market has been estimated at more than Rs 25 lakh. Police arrested two smugglers from Araria district, Mu. Azir Alam and Alam Khan were arrested and Bolero confiscated. This consignment was being taken from Araria to Saraigarh Bhaptiyahi. Police are searching for other gang members.

Jharkhand JACK Pre-Board Exam Dates Announced: Matric, Inter, 9th, 11th Students Take Note

Dhanbad Education Department has announced the second Pre-Board for better results in Matric and Intermediate Board Examination of Jharkhand Academic Council. It will start from January 15. The first pre-board examination of classes 9th and 11th will also be conducted from this day. New Rules For Vehicle Fitness In Jharkhand, Owners Will Have To Travel To Ranchi-Hazaribagh

There has been a change in the fitness rules of vehicles in Jharkhand. Now old vehicles will have to be tested at the private Automated Testing Station ATS instead of the District Transport Office. Gorakhpur Mahotsav: Route Diversion Will Remain In Effect Till January 13, Vehicles Will Not Go Towards Sailing; Parking Will Be Done At Designated Places

Due to increase in the number of spectators in Gorakhpur Mahotsav, traffic and parking system was affected. The administration has banned vehicular movement on the Naukan to Padleganj route till January 13. Route diversion will remain in effect from 12 noon till the end of the programme.
