Judicial Scrutiny Of Voter List In Bengal From Today, District Judge And DM Will Monitor

Judicial scrutiny of claims and objections has started from Monday as part of the intensive revision of voter lists in Bengal. It consists of 150 sessions judges and 250 judicial officers appointed by the Calcutta High Court. A three-member committee in each district, including the district judge and DM, will monitor. Documents of about 45-50 lakh voters will be verified, the final list of which will be released on February 28.
