A horrific road accident took place on the Kanpur-Lucknow highway in Unnao. While trying to overtake, a truck first hit the trailer and then crushed the bike-riding couple and their two children. All four died on the spot, leaving only a 12-year-old daughter in the family. Due to the accident, there was a jam on the highway for about an hour. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem and normalized the traffic.

Mohammad Shoaib, who was riding a bike on Haiderganj bridge in Lucknow, died after his neck was cut by a manjha.
