In Barabanki, lawyers protested by burning the seat and table of a lawyer. This anger was against the lawyer who had filed the Vakalatnama on behalf of the toll personnel arrested in the case of beating of High Court lawyer Ratnesh Shukla at Bara Toll Plaza on Lucknow-Sultanpur Highway. The lawyers had earlier claimed that no one would represent the accused. The situation calmed down before the police arrived.
