Many former and present officers have recorded statements in the court, in which they accused Choubey of ignoring rules, patronizing agencies with fake bank guarantees and selling liquor at more than the MRP. According to officials, those who protested faced transfer or resignation. The state has suffered a revenue loss of crores of rupees due to this scam.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation Issues Notice To Defaulters Of Waste User Charge, Strict Action Will Be Taken If Payment Is Not Made Within 7 Days.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation has started strict action against big defaulters of solid waste user charge. Notices have been issued to 100 establishments for payment of dues from April 2022 to December 2025. Non-payment within seven days from the date of notice will attract penal action under the Jharkhand Municipal Act. The corporation has appealed to everyone to make timely payment to maintain the cleanliness of the city, for which online and door-step facility is available.

Patna Janshatabdi Express Will Not Go To Ranchi Till January 7, Will Operate From Namkum Only.

Due to non-interlocking work in Ranchi Railway Division, there have been changes in the operation of many trains from December 31 to January 7. Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express and Godda-Ranchi Express will now run only up to Namkum station instead of Ranchi. Due to this, passengers traveling between Patna and Godda to Ranchi will have to face a lot of trouble. Railways has appealed to the passengers to get information before travelling.

Workers Took To The Streets To Demand Minimum Wages, Semi-nude Demonstration Of Workers In Chaibasa

Jharkhand General Kamgar Union held a strong demonstration in Chaibasa demanding minimum wages and providing employment to local labourers. Under the leadership of Man Singh Tiriya, the workers marched in the city, demonstrating half naked with plates and bowls. He alleged that despite big companies, local people are not getting employment and outside laborers are being employed in government works. The demand letter was handed over to the Deputy Commissioner.

Big Action By ACB In Black Money Case Of Suspended IAS Vinay Chaubey, Raid On Auto Showrooms In 4 Cities Including Dhanbad

ACB has taken major action in the disproportionate assets case of suspended IAS Vinay Kumar Choubey. Six showrooms of Tata Motors and Mahindra, controlled by the wife of Snigdha Singh Vinay Singh, were raided in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Koderma and Deoghar. The ACB investigated financial transactions and income tax documents, seizing digital devices and documents. It is alleged that Choubey had invested crores of black money in these showrooms.

Bloody Clash Over Land Dispute In Chatra, Two Members Of Banned Organization TSPC Killed; 2 Villagers Injured
