Three gold mines have been identified in the state at Deogarh, Kendujhar and Ghazipur, which have potential reserves of about 1,586 kg of gold. Mines Minister Vibhuti Bhushan Jena said that a high-level meeting has been called on January 3, in which the process of further exploration and auction of these gold blocks will be discussed. This discovery is expected to strengthen the state's economy and increase employment opportunities.
