A Wagoneer car fell into a pond on Tuesday night in Bardiya of Ghoraval area of Sonbhadra. Driver Mahesh Gupta, whose eyes were dazzled by the headlights of the tipper coming from the front, saved his life by jumping. He suffered minor injuries and was sent to the hospital for a CT scan. After hours of effort, the police took the car out. There was no casualty, police are investigating the matter.
