The Chadar Track on Zanskar River in Ladakh has been canceled this year. The Leh district administration took this decision as the river water did not freeze even in the second fortnight of January. Climate change is being said to be the main reason due to which snow is not accumulating on time. The administration has instructed tourists and tour operators to cancel trekking activities, causing disappointment among them.

Jammu-Srinagar Highway Blocked For Second Day, More Than 3000 Vehicles Stranded; Snow Removal Work Continues
