The SDM has submitted the investigation report of cracks in buildings in Chalunthi, Shimla to the Deputy Commissioner. The reason for this has been said to be the blasting that took place during the construction of Kaithlighat-Dhaali four lane tunnel. However, the actual property loss assessment and compensation process is yet to take place. A letter has been written to the affected families to get compensation from NHAI, but there is a possibility of recurrence of cases like Lindidhar.

In Bilaspur, People Got Angry Over The Death Of The Driver When The Tipper Of The Railway Project Fell Into The Ditch, Blocked The Four Lane.

Driver Kuldeep Singh died in an accident involving a tipper of Bhanupalli-Bilaspur rail line project in Kothipura, Bilaspur. The tipper fell into a ditch near Baghchhal bridge late Saturday night. Angered by the indifference of the company management, relatives and villagers blocked the road by placing the dead body on the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane, which disrupted traffic.

Himachal: Woman Dies Due To Negligence In Family Planning Operation, Court Orders Compensation Of Rs 24.60 Lakh

A woman died due to medical negligence during a family planning operation in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Sarkaghat Civil Judge Court, while giving an important verdict in this case, has ordered the state government and the concerned doctor to pay a compensation of Rs 24.60 lakh to the husband and children of the deceased. The woman died due to internal bleeding, and the court found the failure to provide proper treatment after the operation to be negligent.

Arki Fire: Relief And Rescue Operations Continued For The Second Day, Remains Of 7 Bodies Recovered On Tuesday; NDRF Took Command
