Mandi Shivratri Festival: Invitation To 216 Gods And Goddesses, Rajdevata Madhorai Will Sit In Chanani; Will Sit In Pagoda Style Tents

The seating arrangements of Gods and Goddesses have been decided in Mandi International Shivratri Mahotsav. For the first time, 85 pagoda style tents are being set up, in which two-three deities will sit. 216 deities have been invited, out of which 190-195 are expected to arrive. Six other deities will sit with the royal deity Madhorai. Khuddijahal deity of Kullu will also participate in the festival this time.

Sunil Kumar from Amb in Una district of Himachal Pradesh brought glory to the country by winning a silver medal in javelin throw at the Faza World Para Athletics Championship in Dubai. Sunil, 3 feet 4 inches tall, threw the javelin 32.47 meters. He attributed his success to hard work, blessings of parents and guidance of coaches. Sunil has an opportunity to win another medal in the shot put event.

Snowfall At Four Places In Himachal Including Rohtang-Atal Tunnel, Western Disturbance Will Be Active From February 16; Meteorological Department Alert

In Himachal, there was snowfall in Rohtang, Baralacha, Shinkula and Atal Tunnel, while it remained cloudy in Dharamshala-Shimla. The maximum temperature recorded at Neri was 26.8 degrees. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear weather till February 15, but western disturbance will be active from February 16. There was fog in Bilaspur and Mandi in the morning. Tourists are enjoying snow in Solanganala.

Cases of cyber fraud are increasing rapidly in Himachal Pradesh, where on an average three people are falling prey to it every hour and more than Rs 10 crore has been defrauded in a year. Weather Changed In Himachal, Temperature Dropped Due To Fresh Snowfall; Snowfall On The Hills Of Manali And Lahaul

The weather has changed in Himachal Pradesh, due to which fresh snowfall has started on the mountains. There has been snowfall on the hills from Dhauladhar to Manali and Kinnaur. White blanket of snow has also spread in the high altitude areas of Atal Tunnel including Rohtang Pass, Kunjam, Shinkula and Baralacha Pass. Due to this the temperature has dropped and more snowfall is expected in Lahaul-Manali.
