The body of 45 year old widow Phulwa Devi has been recovered in Kurwatand of Garhi police station area of Jamui. She was missing since Sunday evening and her family suspects murder. The deceased's husband had died five years ago and she had returned from Bengaluru only 10 days ago. Police are investigating the matter, which has created a sensation in the area.

CBSE has directed affiliated schools to update all mandatory information on their website by February 15. For not doing so, a fine of up to Rs 5 lakh can be imposed on schools. This step has been taken to increase transparency and provide correct information to parents, as many schools had incomplete or outdated information on their websites. 28 schools of Bhagalpur will have to complete this process.
