In Pratapgarh, a pickup full of devotees going for a bath in the Ganga on Mauni Amavasya was hit by a bus due to fog, injuring 23 people. Women and children are also among the injured. Many people were seriously injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital. Local people and police helped in relief work.

District Judge Bhanudev Sharma has sentenced two culprits, Saddam and Satveer, to life imprisonment in the double murder case that took place in Rampur three years ago. Seven vehicles collided with each other on Saturday morning due to fog on the Kanpur-Prayagraj highway in Fatehpur. In this horrific accident, 17-year-old S Gautam died, while his mother was seriously injured and has been referred to Kanpur. A total of 11 people including the advocate were injured. Police immediately reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital and smoothened the traffic.

Two people were killed and seven were injured when an unknown truck hit a pickup on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur late night. There were 14 laborers from Rae Bareli in the pickup who were going to Azamgarh. The injured have been referred to Ambedkarnagar Medical College. Dense fog hampered rescue efforts and another vehicle also met with an accident.
Police arrested two robbers of Etah, Ravi alias Raviya and Kitab Singh, in an encounter near Nihal culvert in Firozabad. Both of them were shot in the legs. A pistol, cartridges, an auto without number plate and stolen Rs 10,020 were recovered from them. These criminals were wanted in the theft case that took place in Tundla on 8 September 2025. There are 13 old cases registered against Ravi and 3 old cases against Kitab Singh.
Late Thursday night, a speeding car collided with a divider and overturned on Naukan Road in Gorakhpur, injuring two people including driver Neeraj Kumar.
