Water Crisis Deepens In More Than 50 Villages Of Hapur, TDS Level Crosses 1500; Deaths Occur Every Year Due To Serious Diseases

In more than 50 villages of Hapur district, people are forced to drink contaminated water, due to which water-borne diseases are spreading. The TDS level of water has reached above 1500 due to industrial waste and shallow taps. Many deaths occur every year due to serious diseases like typhoid, hepatitis and cancer. The Health Department is investigating and efforts are being made to overcome the lack of pure drinking water and awareness.

NIA-ATS Raid In Barabanki, One Arrested In Investigation Of Terrorist Connection; The House Was Searched Using A Machine.

Ban On Heavy Vehicles From February 5, Bijnor Police's Route Plan Released For Kanwar Yatra

The police-administration has issued a route diversion plan for the Kanwar Yatra starting from February 5 in Bijnor. Due to the expectation of more than seven lakh Kanwariyas, operation of heavy vehicles will remain closed on Kanwar routes from February 5. Vehicles going to Haridwar will be sent to Muzaffarnagar via Barrage Road. Vehicles carrying essential commodities will be allowed at night, while small vehicles may also be banned if the number of Kanwariyas increases.
