In a tragic incident in Jaunpur, 26-year-old Rohit Kumar, who was crossing the tracks with earphones on, was hit by a train. This accident happened on Aurihar-Jaunpur railway section near Puranpur village of Chandvak police station area. Due to not being able to hear the sound of Suheldev Express coming from Ghazipur, Rohit jumped in the air along with the bike and fell on the side of the track and died on the spot.
