A case has been registered in Vasant Vihar police station to reveal the name of VIP in Ankita murder case. On the complaint of environmentalist Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi, DGP handed over the investigation to SSP Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recommended a CBI investigation on the basis of this FIR. Internet media are facing allegations of hiding evidence, hence the need for an impartial investigation was felt.

Four Armed Miscreants Entered Property Dealer's House, Beat Up Women; Absconded With Cash And Jewelery

The SIT took the accused shooters Sunny and Ajay of the infamous Vinay Tyagi murder case on remand and interrogated them for a long time. The police took both of them to the crime scene and their hiding places and repeated the crime scene, from which many important information was obtained.
