The dead included a father and his three daughters, whose bodies were found hanging. This incident has created a wave of mourning in the entire area and the police is investigating the matter.
A truck driver was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Sunday night during road construction work in Taraiya police station area of Saran district. The body was found lying face down on the oil tank of the truck, causing panic and sensation in the construction site and surrounding areas.
A youth riding a bike died after being hit by a truck on Narpatganj-Forbisganj National Highway 27 in Araria. The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Phulkaha, who was going to Narpatganj market. After the incident, the police seized the truck, while the driver absconded. Online applications for filing-rejecting or Parimarjan Plus in Buxar can now be made from the Common Service Center CSC of the zonal office. Fees prescribed by the government will have to be paid. Darbhanga police has arrested seven miscreants along with two kilos of silver jewelery stolen from a jewelery shop in Kiratpur market of Jamalpur police station area on December 12. On the instructions of the government, the work of completing land acquisition for the remains and rehabilitation work of North Koel Reservoir Project in Guraru block is going on at a fast pace. 632 lands of 20 mouzas have been identified, out of which private lands of 486 ryots are to be acquired. Land ownership certificates have been issued to 357 ryots and payment of compensation has also started.
