Youth Murdered Due To Misunderstanding In Delhi, Police Caught The Accused On The Basis Of Confession

A youth Sumit was murdered in Prasad Nagar of Central District. The attackers were under the misconception that he was supporting the other party in the fight. The police solved the case within 24 hours and arrested two accused Harsh Pawar and Nikhil Pawar. His third accomplice Sunny is still absconding, the search for whom is going on. Police are also trying to recover the knife used in the murder.

Woman's Dead Body Found In The Flat, Suicide Note Not Recovered From The Room; Riya Was A Resident Of Mathura

The body of a woman named Riya Chaudhary, 27, was found hanging in a flat in Mukherjee Nagar on the evening of 31 December. Riya, a resident of Mathura, was married and was living separately from her husband for three years. She had stayed in a friend's room for three days. When the friend went to Mathura, on his request, another friend opened the room and found Riya hanging. Police are investigating from both suicide and murder angles.

Strict Police Vigil On New Year In West Delhi, 1146 Rioters Detained And 93 Vehicles Seized

West Delhi Police launched intensive operation to maintain law and order during New Year celebrations. On the night of 31 December, 1146 people were detained for creating ruckus and violating rules, while 93 vehicles were seized. 1469 policemen were deployed for security. In Delhi, They Used To Commit Fraud By Posing As Audit Officers Of Banks, Police Arrested Three Accused.

The Crime Branch has arrested three accused from Delhi in the bank loan fraud case. These accused used to take loans from various banks by making fake Senior Audit Officer identity cards. After paying some EMIs initially, they used to stop the payments. A case of fraud of Rs 25 lakh with Bajaj Finance has been resolved. All three accused have previously worked in the banking sector.

In Bhajanpura, Pramod Kumar was defrauded of Rs 30 lakh in the name of getting the job of postal assistant. Railway employee Vinod Kumar and his family are accused of committing fraud by giving fake examination and appointment letter. The victim had taken loan from the bank and money from relatives and given it to the thugs on the promise of jobs for his two sons. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

The Delhi High Court has appointed the wife of a man, who is in a coma-like state due to a serious illness, as his legal guardian from February 2024. The court gave this decision under the 'Parens Patriae' principle. The wife had sought appointment of a guardian to manage her husband's movable and immovable properties, financial matters and medical treatment. The court has given the wife the right to take all decisions to protect the interests of the husband.

Good News For Delhiites, 250 Ayushman Health Centers Will Be Opened From MCD Schools To Dispensaries.

1100 Ayushman Health Centers are to be opened in Delhi, out of which 400 will be in MCD premises. By March, MCD will open 250 centres, especially in vacant schools and community centres, so that people can get treatment close to home.
