Jharkhand Forest And Environment Department Is Preparing New 'Forest Policy 2026', Emphasis On Ecological Balance And Wildlife Conservation
Jharkhand Forest and Environment Department is preparing the new Forest Policy 2026. The 31-member nodal group will give suggestions on ecological balance, expansion of pastureland for wildlife and reducing human-elephant conflict. There are plans to strengthen technical surveillance, QRT and monitoring of predatory creatures through caller ID. Local people will be made partners in forest management.
