More than 31,976 objections have been registered for amendment in the voter list of Panchayat elections in Barabanki. These include applications for addition of 19,525 names, 1865 amendments and 10,586 applications for deletion of names. The administration will dispose of them by January 6, after which the final list will be published on February 6. After revision, the total number of voters in the district has become 23 lakh 59 thousand 277.
