Postpaid Era Is Now Over In Agra, Smart Meter Mandatory For New Electricity Connections

Now smart meters in Agra will be prepaid, which will end the era of postpaid billing. Smart meters have already been installed in 1.30 lakh consumers of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited DVVNL. Those taking new connections will also get prepaid smart meters, which will cost Rs 2800. Consumers will be able to recharge the meter sitting at home like mobile, which will provide relief from complaints of high bills and irregularities.

Sunny Day And Melting At Night In Gorakhpur, Fog And Cold Will Increase Due To Western Disturbance

The weather has taken a new form in Gorakhpur in the beginning of January. The maximum temperature has increased due to sunshine during the day, while the melting has increased at night due to cold westerly winds and the minimum temperature is between 5-6 degrees Celsius. According to meteorologists, western disturbance will soon become active, due to which fog will increase and the maximum temperature will fall again. The severe cold will continue till mid-January.
