Retired Employees Of Municipality In Hapur Got Angry And Surrounded EO Office Regarding Pending Demands.

Retired employees of Hapur Municipality gheraoed the Executive Officer's office over the arrears of 2016 and non-increase in pension of employees above 80 years of age. The union officials demanded immediate fulfillment of their pending demands. There was an altercation with the officials, after which the EO called for talks again on Friday. The employees have warned of a strike if no solution is found.

Horrific Accident On Kanpur-Etawah Highway: Two Trucks Collided Due To Fog, Driver Burnt To Death

Two trucks collided due to fog on Thursday night near Pakka Bagh overbridge on Kanpur-Etawah highway. After the accident, a huge fire broke out in a truck, in which the driver Jaskirat Singh 45 got trapped and died by burning alive. The fire brigade reached the spot after receiving information and brought the fire under control after one and a half hour of effort. This accident caused a long jam on the highway, which was cleared by the police after two and a half hours.

Railway's Mistake At Lucknow Aishbagh Station, Wrong Information About Platform And Coach Caused Panic Among Passengers.

Due to negligence of Railways, passengers faced a lot of trouble at Aishbagh station in Lucknow. There was chaos due to changing the platform of Sitapur LTT Express and wrong information in the coach guidance system. As soon as the train reached the platform, the passengers ran in search of their bogies. During this time, chain pulling also took place, due to which the train stopped for 25 minutes. RPF took charge of the situation and helped the passengers.

There Was A Huge Jam In Gorakhpur On New Year, Vehicles Kept Crawling In Many Areas Including Naukan Road.

On the first day of the New Year, the traffic system in Gorakhpur collapsed due to the crowd that gathered for sightseeing and worship. Long queues of vehicles started forming on Naukan Road since afternoon, due to which the traffic almost came to a standstill. The traffic jam continued till late evening near Gorakhnath Temple, Budhiya Mata Temple and other religious places. Police implemented diversion, but due to crowd pressure, vehicles continued to crawl in many areas.

Order To Send To Myanmar After Conviction As Per Rules, Not An Instruction For Deportation: High Court

The Allahabad High Court has clarified that the sessions court's suggestion to deport Myanmar national Rashida Begum to the country 'as per rules' after completion of her sentence is not a direct order for deportation. In Ghaziabad, a pet cat injured a three-year-old girl while she was sleeping, after which she was given anti-rabies vaccine.
