BHEL Haridwar completes manufacturing of 50th Super Rapid Gun Mount SRGM Naval Gun. Executive Director Ranjan Kumar flagged it off for Mumbai, where it will be deployed on the warship INS Mahendragiri. This gun can engage targets within a range of 35 km and is capable of firing a selection of different types of ammunition. BHEL has been manufacturing SRGM Naval Guns for the Navy for the last three decades.
