Bihar State Women's Commission, Patna has taken suo motu cognizance of the objectionable statement made by Girdhari Lal Sahu, husband of Uttarakhand Minister Rekha Arya, on the women of Bihar. Slowness In Auction Of Vehicles Seized In Liquor Ban Case: Revenue Worth Crores Stuck In Patna, DM Will Review Weekly

Revenue worth crores of rupees is stuck due to slow auction process of vehicles seized under liquor ban in Patna. The auction of 306 vehicles between March 17 and December 15, 2025, fetched Rs 5.92 crore, while 1256 vehicles are pending due to lack of valuation. The District Magistrate will now review weekly and give instructions to speed up this process, so that revenue loss can be stopped and the dilapidated vehicles can be saved.
