Encounter: Police-criminal Encounter At Khagaul's Lakh In Patna, Notorious Manager Rai Injured By Bullet In Leg

There was an encounter between the police and notorious criminal Manager Rai in Khagaul, Patna. In this incident that took place late at night, Manager Rai was shot in the leg, after which he was arrested and admitted to AIIMS. The police was searching for him for a long time. Manager Rai has many serious cases registered against him including murder, extortion and robbery. Police recovered weapons and scooter from the spot.

Youth Dies After Fighting In Land Dispute, Tension In Village

40-year-old Pradeep Kushwaha died during treatment in the sub-divisional hospital in a fight over a land dispute in Manjhariya Panchayat of Piprasi police station area of Bagaha. Pradeep was seriously injured in a fight between Patidars on the first day of the New Year. The police admitted him to the hospital, where his condition deteriorated. Fake English Liquor Factory Busted In Begusarai, Huge Quantity Of Wrapper-chemical Recovered; Two Arrested Including Woman

Bakhri Police, taking major action on the New Year, has busted a fake English liquor factory in Bagwan village of Begusarai. Police have arrested two people including a woman from the spot. During the raid, a huge quantity of spurious liquor, equipment for making it, raw materials, chemicals, stickers and wrappers were recovered. SDPO Kundan Kumar said that the recovered items will be investigated and such action will continue in future also.
