Auto Fare Increased In Patna, Now The Fare Will Be This Much From Junction To Gandhi Maidan

Auto Men's Union Bihar at Gandhi Maidan Auto Stand has decided to increase auto fares in Patna. From January 1, 2026, the fare from Gandhi Maidan to Patna Junction will increase from Rs 15 to Rs 20. New rates have also been fixed for other routes like Dakbungla intersection and Biskoman. The union cited the inaction of the transport department and the increased fuel cost due to the new traffic system as the reason for this.

17 urban health and wellness centers will be opened in Samastipur district under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Rs 19.88 crore will be spent on the construction of these centres, which has been approved by the 15th Finance Commission. These centers will be built in other new city areas including Samastipur Municipal Corporation, Patori, Rosra, Tajpur and Singhia. With this, local people will not have to go far for treatment and access to health services will be easier.

ED Action In Muzaffarpur PNB Fraud: Rs 83 Lakh Seized, Property Of Accused Including Bank Employee Nitesh Is Being Searched

ED has intensified action in the Muzaffarpur PNB fraud case, in which a scam of more than five crores took place. Recently ED raided four places and seized Rs 83 lakh. The assets of six accused including bank employee Nitish Kumar are being investigated, which will be confiscated soon. Hawala traders from Kolkata and Bengaluru have also been found involved in the investigation, in whose accounts the fraudulent amount was transferred.

Patna Municipal Corporation Collected Revenue Of More Than Rs 63 Crore In 9 Months, Rs 5.92 Crore From OTS Scheme

Patna Municipal Corporation has collected revenue of over Rs 63.15 crore from property tax and solid waste management charges in the financial year 2025-26. Of this, Rs 33.88 crore came through online mode, which shows the increasing acceptance of digital payments. Rs 5.92 crore was received from the One Time Settlement OTS scheme, which will remain effective till March 31, 2026. The corporation has appealed to the citizens to pay taxes on time.
