Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh virtually inaugurated 18 large cow protection centers in 14 districts. 7400 destitute cows will get shelter in these centres. The Minister directed to complete the construction of the remaining 209 centers soon and ensure quality. More than 12 lakh destitute cows are protected in the state and the government is spending about Rs 6.5 crore per day.

Late night in Sadar Bazar of Saharanpur, a speeding I-20 car went out of control, broke the roadside stairs and entered a shop. This accident happened due to the driver dozing off.
