In Nizamatpura, Bijnor, the Forest Department dug up the playground built by the youth with a JCB, due to which hundreds of youth got angry. This ground was used for preparation for army and police recruitment. The youth complained to DM Jasjit Kaur and SP office and requested to save the ground. The Forest Department says that a park is to be built here under the Central Government scheme.

Meerut truck driver Gulab Mohammad died of a heart attack in a private hospital in Niwada, Baghpat. Relatives accused him of negligence in treatment, after which he was beaten up in the district hospital. The police intervened and pacified the matter. The relatives refused police action and took away the body without post-mortem. The private hospital has denied negligence.

The court has given a big verdict in the case of lynching of a girl two years ago in Araul of Kanpur Dehat. The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Six Durgesh sentenced step mother Farzana Khatoon and father Anees Mohammad to life imprisonment. In this case registered on maternal uncle's complaint, fine has also been imposed on both the accused. This incident came to light when the girl suffered serious injuries, after which she died.
