There Will Be Recruitment On 1046 Posts Of Ward Boy And Environment Mitra In Uttarakhand, Health Minister Gave Instructions To Departmental Officers

Uttarakhand Health Department will soon recruit a total of 1046 posts of Ward Boy and Environment Mitra in various medical units through outsourcing. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has given instructions to the officials. This recruitment includes the posts of 680 Ward Boys and 366 Environment Mitra, the objective of which is to strengthen health services and improve the sanitation system in the state.

Uttarakhand: CM Dhami Planted Tulip Bulbs With His Family And Laid Emphasis On Innovation In The Field Of Flower Production And Horticulture.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his family planted 4000 tulip bulbs of 17 species at his residence in Dehradun. He directed the Horticulture Department to prepare an action plan for commercial production of tulips and to lay emphasis on innovation in flower production and horticulture. The Chief Minister also inquired about other horticulture activities including mushroom production and mouse rearing.

Hearing In High Court Against Bitumen Hotmix Plant In Vikas Nagar, Dehradun, Notice Issued To AA Construction

Uttarakhand High Court heard the PIL filed against the bitumen hotmix plant in Bartoli village, Vikas Nagar, Dehradun. The court has immediately banned the operation of this plant which violates the rules of the State Pollution Control Board. A notice has been issued to AA Construction and a progress report has been sought from the state government and PCB. Villagers had complained about air pollution and health effects caused by the plant.

Ankita Bhandari Case: Doon Police Action, Notice Pasted At The House Of Former MLA Suresh Rathore.

Dehradun Police has pasted a notice at the Haridwar residence of former MLA Suresh Rathore in the Ankita Bhandari case. Accident In Uttarakhand On The First Day Of The New Year, Thar Overturned Out Of Control; Death Of Two

Two youths of Sitarganj, Yuganpreet Singh and Mohd. were killed when their uncontrolled Thar car overturned in Kichha. Saif, died tragically. One of his associates, Sohail Ansari, is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in Rudrapur. The accident occurred while returning from Haldwani to Sitarganj on Wednesday midnight, when the car collided with an electric pole. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.

The year ended with severe cold and fog in the Terai-Bhabar regions of Kumaon. The sun was not visible for three consecutive days, due to which the melting increased. The temperature remained low in Haldwani. According to the Meteorological Department, cold wave and fog will continue in the plains till January 4, while there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the hilly areas till January 2. The new year will also start with cold.

New Year's Happiness Drowned In Sorrow, Woman Drowns In Ramganga In Almora; Body Recovered After 27 Hours

45-year-old Manju Devi, who had gone to wash clothes in Ramganga river in Syalde, Almora, died due to drowning. His body was found on the river bank about 27 hours later. Police suspect that she might have fallen into the river due to slipping. Masi police has sent the body for post-mortem, after which the real cause of death will be clear. There is mourning in the village due to this tragic incident.

New Year 2026: Rishikesh Will Get A Gift In The New Year, Bajrang Setu Will Open For Traffic.

The construction work of Bajrang Setu in Rishikesh will be completed by the end of this month, which will provide great relief to the local people, tourists and devotees. Chamoli Tunnel Accident: 70 Out Of 109 People Treated In Vishnugad Project, Condition Of 4 Critical

109 people were affected in the tunnel accident at the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydroelectric project site in Joshimath in Chamoli district. This incident occurred due to collision of trolleys inside the tunnel. A total of 70 people were treated, of which 66 were discharged after first aid, while 4 seriously injured persons have been admitted to hospital. 21 people were found safe.

Due to the messages and awareness campaigns of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the cases of cyber fraud have decreased in the year 2025. This year, 24442 complaints were registered, in which Rs 117 crore were defrauded, but Rs 27.2 crore were saved. Cases of digital arrest also decreased. Cyber Excellence Center will open in Dehradun and policemen will get training, which is expected to further control cyber crimes in future.

Uttarakhand has made significant progress in industrial development in the 25 years since the formation of the state. The number of industries has increased from 14,163 to 93,887, with investment of more than Rs 55.58 thousand crore and employment to more than 5.91 lakh people. Agreements worth Rs 3.56 lakh crore were signed in the Global Investors Conference, out of which one lakh crore has been implemented. The state is also focusing on industrial corridors and skill development, which will prevent migration and increase local employment.

Major Accident Inside The Tunnel In Chamoli, Uttarakhand, Two Loco Trains Collided; 100 People Were Injured In The Accident

A major accident took place in the tunnel of THDC's Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydro power project in Chamoli district on Tuesday night. More than 100 people, including engineers, employees and workers, were injured when two loco trains collided. In the initial investigation, brake failure is being said to be the reason. The injured have been admitted to the District Hospital and Vivekananda Hospital, while some seriously injured are being referred to Srinagar.

Horrific Bus Accident In Almora, Six Passengers Died; The Train Going To Ramnagar Fell Into The Ditch

A passenger bus fell into a ditch near Sailapani in Bhikiyasain, killing six people. The bus was going towards Ramnagar. As soon as information about the accident was received, police, administration and disaster management teams reached the spot and started rescue operations with the help of local people. The injured have been sent to nearby health centres. Due to the depth of the ditch, rescue work is becoming difficult.

Those Who Drive Drunk Will Not Fare Well On New Year...will Have To Pay Heavy Fine, License Will Also Be Cancelled.

Strict action will be taken against those who drink alcohol or drive at high speed on Thirty First in Dehradun. Teams of transport and police departments will start checking on major routes from the morning of December 31. If caught, there can be a heavy fine, license cancellation and up to six months in jail.
