Scorpio Worth Rs 12 Lakh Auctioned For Rs 3.85 Lakh! FIR Against Senior Officers Of Bihar In Liquor Scandal

In Muzaffarpur, an FIR has been registered against four officers including the then Excise Superintendent, DSP East, Sakra police station in-charge for auctioning the Scorpio seized with liquor despite the court order. The Economic Offenses Unit took this action on the instructions of Patna High Court. The car worth Rs 12 lakh was auctioned for just Rs 3.85 lakh. Expressing apprehension of a big racket in the auction, the High Court has also ordered investigation of 490 other vehicles.
