In Wasseypur, Dhanbad, police launched a major raid on information about shooters and illegal weapons linked to gangster Prince Khan. 20 teams of more than 100 policemen raided 15 localities simultaneously. Forest department has taken major action against wildlife smuggling in Jamshedpur. More than 100 parrots brought from Kolkata were seized in a swift operation near Sakchi roundabout. The Central Government has sought a report from Jharkhand on how many primary teachers will be affected by the mandatory conduct of teacher eligibility test TET as per the Supreme Court order.
