Bhopal Metro journey is starting from 21st December. The metro will start from platform number one of AIIMS metro station. The project, which started in 2009, had many ups and downs in its completion. Work started in 2019, but work was delayed due to COVID-19. The first trial run took place on 3 October 2023. The length of the Priority Corridor is 7.4 kilometers.
In Bhopal, a contractor committed suicide by hanging himself after getting trapped in the online Aviator betting app. He had lost Rs 30 lakh on this app and was in debt. The body of Khargone police station incharge Karan Singh Rawat was found in a suspicious condition in a hotel in Dhar. He had come to Dhar for duty in the Urs fair and was staying in the hotel since December 12. The police have registered the case and started investigation, and the FSL team has also been called.
