Railways will now investigate train accidents in a more thorough manner with the help of drones. The Railway Board has issued instructions to all zones to collect evidence by recording the accident site with drones. This recommendation was made after the 2024 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express accident at Gonda. Accident Relief Train ART staff will be trained by forensic experts and ART will also have drone cameras, which will help in quick relief and investigation.
