Water Shortage In Sabour: Claim Of Tap Water In Every House Is Hollow, Thirst Of Mahadalit People Is Not Quenched

The 'Tap to Water' scheme has been stalled for one and a half years in four Mahadalit dominated wards of Khankitta Panchayat of Sabour block of Bhagalpur. About 500 families are searching for water and are forced to drink dirty water, increasing health risks. This situation has arisen due to the apathy of the PHED department and the damaged pipeline. Despite complaints from villagers and the chief, no action has been taken.

46 Lakh Applications For Admission And Rejection Are Pending In Bihar, Will Be Settled By Running A Campaign From January 26

A special campaign will be run from January 26 to March 31 to settle 46 lakh pending cases of filing, rejection and refinement in Bihar. Muzaffarpur Lift Accident: Old Woman Dies After Falling From 5th Floor, Police Admits Maintenance Was Not Proper

A 60-year-old woman died after falling from the fifth floor while entering the lift at Vijay Inclave Apartment in Muzaffarpur. Police registered a case and started investigation, which revealed technical fault and poor maintenance in the lift. CCTV footage showed that the door was open but there was no lift cabin, due to which the woman fell straight down. The police have also held the society committee responsible.
