Bahedi Bypass Construction Accelerated, Condition Of Bridges Came To Light During DM's Inspection

DM Kaushal Kumar inspected the construction of Baheri bypass. Out of 13 bridges and culverts on this 4.9 km long route, 11 have been completed. Earth filling and GSB work is also in progress. The target is to complete the project by June. The DM directed the affected tenants to ensure prompt payment. So far, Rs 17.92 crore has been given to 103 people.

Police at Patna Junction have busted an inter-district gang involved in theft in trains and station premises. 12 accused were arrested in the joint action of Railway Police, RPF and District Police. In the raid, 9 stolen mobile phones, 79 kg of ganja and 8 liters of English liquor were recovered. This action has exposed the criminal network operating at the station, thereby enhancing the security of passengers.

Patna-Dumka Express train is arriving late in Jamalpur every day, causing a lot of trouble to the daily commuters. On Wednesday, this train arrived three hours behind schedule. East Central Railway Will Build 156 Modern Houses In Patna, Construction Will Be Done In Mahendrughat And Karbigahiya

East Central Railway will develop 156 modern residential complexes for railway employees and officers in Patna. 100 houses will be built in Mahendrughat and 56 houses will be built in Karbigahiya. The plan was discussed in the meeting chaired by General Manager Chhatrasal Singh. These complexes will have state-of-the-art facilities like parking, water treatment plant and sewerage treatment plant, which will provide a better lifestyle to the employees.

Rs 5.82 crore has been sanctioned for internship to 5827 students of 38 engineering colleges of Bihar. Each student will get Rs 10,000. Seventh semester students from other colleges including MIT Muzaffarpur have registered. After verification, this amount will be sent directly to their accounts. The department has sought verification report before the end of the financial year.

Out of total 161 posts in the newly formed Higher Education Department of Bihar, appointment has been made to the post of Secretary. Approval has been received from the General Administration Department for posting on the remaining 160 posts. The department has not yet got its own building and officers and employees other than the Secretary. Letters in this regard have been sent twice to the Building Construction Department and General Administration Department. Includes posts of various administrative and secretarial services.

Rural Roads In Bihar Will Be Rejuvenated, 7,214 Km Roads Will Be Built With Green Technology And Waste Plastic.

The Rural Affairs Department has proposed a budget of Rs 11,312.18 crore for 2026-27 to strengthen infrastructure in rural areas of Bihar. The department has constructed 7,214 km of roads using 'waste plastic' and 'green technology'. Roads will be widened under Seven Nishchay-3, the survey for which has been completed. Construction of 1,887.86 km of roads will start in the upcoming financial year, along with the target of new roads has been set under Mukhyamantri Gram Sampark Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
