There was a fight between two brothers after drinking alcohol in Chautala village of Dabwali. Survey of applications under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 is going on in Kaithal. Out of 1974 applications in the Municipal Council area, 140 were accepted, while 26 were rejected because they were pucca houses and 98 were withdrawn. A total of 7359 applications have been received in the district. Approved beneficiaries will soon receive the first installment of Rs 1 lakh. Under the previous scheme, Rs 2.57 crore will also be recovered from those who took money wrongly.
