In Haryana, Ten Year Old Anganwadi Workers Will Be Able To Become Supervisors, 50 Percent Posts Reserved; CM Saini's Announcement

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that Anganwadi workers with 10 years of experience in Haryana will be promoted to the post of supervisor, with 50 posts reserved for them. This decision was taken in the review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department. The government is also working rapidly on tackling malnutrition and upgrading Anganwadi centers into competent and play-way schools, so that children can get better facilities.

Haryana Urban Development Authority HSVP took strict action against illegal encroachment in Bihari Market located in Sector-15, Sonipat. Illegal ramps and sheds built in front of Housing Board houses were removed with bulldozers, thereby removing the obstruction to traffic. This action was taken after complaints from local people, in which police and municipal corporation officials were also present. The traffic police also removed encroachments from other parts of the city.

Sirsa: After Being Beaten By His Brother, A Young Man Remained Lying In The Street All Night In The Cold, Died After Two Days

There was a fight between two brothers after drinking alcohol in Chautala village of Dabwali. Due to the beating of the elder brother, the younger brother Kala Singh fell on the ground and the elder brother left him. He became serious due to lying in the street the whole night in the extreme cold. He died two days later in a hospital in Sirsa. Police have registered the case and started investigation, post mortem report is awaited.

Survey of applications under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 is going on in Kaithal. Out of 1974 applications in the Municipal Council area, 140 were accepted, while 26 were rejected because they were pucca houses and 98 were withdrawn. A total of 7359 applications have been received in the district. Approved beneficiaries will soon receive the first installment of Rs 1 lakh. Under the previous scheme, Rs 2.57 crore will also be recovered from those who took money wrongly.

61 Year Old Man Sentenced To Five Years In Child Pornography Case In Ambala

Ambala's fast track court has sentenced 61-year-old Gurdeep alias Pappu to five years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 in the case of obscenity with a 10-year-old girl. The convict was doing paint work in the victim's house when he sexually assaulted the girl. The police had registered a case under the POCSO Act. The court had recently declared him guilty.

Old Gurugram Will Get New Speed Of Metro, Route Will Be Connected To Railway Station And Dwarka Expressway.

Metro connectivity will expand in Old Gurugram. GMDA will conduct a feasibility study for a metro link to the railway station and Dwarka Expressway. This initiative will reduce traffic jams, strengthen public transport and increase convenience for commuters, especially pedestrians, elderly and disabled people. The 29 km metro route and redevelopment of the railway station will ease transportation in the entire area.
