Sandhya Tiwari, 38, wife of a property dealer, committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan in Anand Nagar, Rawatpur, Kanpur. At the time of the incident, their two-year old innocent daughter was crying in the room, hearing which the family members came to know. Police are investigating the case, although the reasons for suicide are not yet known. There was a sacred thread ceremony of the son in the family on 23rd January.

Campaign For License Verification Of Wholesale Drug Sellers Will Run From February In UP, FSDA Commissioner Gave Instructions

Food Safety and Drug Administration FSDA will verify the licenses and warehouses of wholesale drug sellers in Uttar Pradesh from February. This campaign is being run to stop the misuse of cough syrup and narcotics medicines containing codeine. Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob has instructed Assistant Commissioners and Inspectors to check the registered address, storage arrangement and presence of the appropriate person. There will also be an opportunity to return the license before the campaign.

Gram Panchayats Will Be Hi-tech In UP, Villagers Will Be Able To Deposit Fees For Income And Caste Certificate Through QR Code.

On the instructions of the government, to increase the income of Gram Panchayats, self source revenue OSR accounts are being linked to QR code. With this, payment of government fees like birth-death, caste, income certificate etc. will be easier digitally. This initiative will increase transparency and make Gram Panchayats self-reliant. This process has started in 119 gram panchayats of Unchahar, Jagatpur, Rohaniya block, so that villagers will be able to easily avail the services.

Ultimatum To State Employees In UP: If You Do Not Give Details Of Movable And Immovable Property By January 31, You Will Not Get Salary In February.

It is mandatory for state employees and officers of Uttar Pradesh to upload details of their movable and immovable assets on the Manav Sampada portal by January 31. If they do not do so, they will not get their salary for the month of January in February. The Chief Secretary has instructed all the department heads to ensure strict compliance with this order. This rule is mandatory under the Uttar Pradesh Government Employees Conduct Rules, 1956, which covers about 8.74 lakh personnel.

Businessman Kidnapped By Car Riders In Agra, Rs 1.20 Lakh Transferred

A saree trader from Mumbai was kidnapped by car-borne miscreants from Rambagh intersection in Agra. The miscreants took the businessman to Sadabad, beat him, made him remove his clothes, looted the cash and forcibly transferred Rs 1.20 lakh to his bank account. Later she was left in a semi-nude state in Sadabad. The businessman has lodged a complaint at Etmaddoula police station, and the police are examining the CCTV footage.

Transport Rules Are Being Flouted In Ghaziabad, 28 Thousand Vehicles Running On The Roads After The Fitness Period Is Over.

In Ghaziabad, 28,642 vehicles are running on the roads despite the expiry of fitness certificate. These include 12,765 e-rickshaws and 9,650 goods vehicles.
