Road Left To Lay Gas Pipeline In Muzaffarpur Cut, Drinking Water Supply Stalled For 4 Months

In the 'Nagar Sarkar Aapke Dwar' public dialogue in Muzaffarpur, citizens expressed many problems. Due to road cut off due to IOCIL gas pipeline work in Ward 31, more than 1200 families are facing drinking water crisis for last four months. Complaints were also received about water logging and incomplete drain-road construction in Milky Tola. The Mayor and Municipal Commissioner instructed the officials for a quick solution.

Preparations for Mahashivratri 2026 are going on in full swing in Muzaffarpur. Grand Shiva procession tableaux will be taken out from Baba Garibnath temple and other places in the city. An iron chariot is being built for Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, in which gods, goddesses, demons and ghosts will also be included. There will be a Shobha Yatra with Rudrabhishek on 14th February and Shiv Vivah Kirtan on 15th February, which will pass through the prescribed routes.

Bullet train project in Bihar is expected to start from March. Two corridors are proposed, through which the distance from Patna to Delhi will be covered in four hours. Varanasi-Siliguri corridor will pass through Patna and Katihar, through which one can reach Siliguri from Patna in 2 hours 5 minutes. Railway engineers are being given special training on high-speed rail and safety technology at IIT Patna, with passenger safety given top priority.

Engineer Who Arrived In Munger On Receiving Information About Irregularities In Road Construction Attacked With Iron Rod

In Munger, Municipal Corporation's junior engineer Ajay Kumar Ranjan was attacked while checking the quality of road construction. When the sensor's husband Gautam Kumar objected to the poor quality, he beat the JE with an iron rod, due to which he got injured. After the incident, the JE informed the Municipal Commissioner and the Mayor, after which an FIR was lodged at the Kasim Bazar police station. Police is searching for the accused.

A case of attempt to rape a woman has come to light in Raipur village of Ujiarpur. The incident occurred on January 29, but the FIR was filed a week later. The victim had gone to defecate when accused Kanhaiya Mahato tried to catch her. When she raised an alarm, the husband saved her, after which the accused's family beat her up. Bhagalpur: Pitline Will Be Built In Barari, Shunting Of Trains And Expansion Of The Yard Will Be Done, Indian Railways Has Made Preparations.

There is a plan to build a pitline for maintenance of trains in Barari, Bhagalpur. Engineers from Malda division have inspected the site, and soon the survey team will also come from Delhi. Strictness On Khasmahal Land, Government Will Cancel Settlement If Lease Conditions Are Violated

The government has become strict on violation of lease conditions of Khasmahal land. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has sent a letter to the Collector of 12 districts seeking a proposal to cancel all such settlements where the land is being used commercially or otherwise unapproved.
